Named in honor of the year 1923, when Walt left Kansas City, headed for Hollywood and founded what would become the Disney Studios, D23 celebrates the wonder and excitement that began that year and is now Disney, a company whose stories, characters, songs, and experiences have only increased over the decades and captured the imagination of the world over.

MOTION PICTURE FILM RESTORATION

Robert A. Harris: http://www.thedigitalbits.com/site_archive/articles/robertharris/index.html

For years, I've wanted to endorse the aesthetic of Robert A. Harris who has restored the motion pictures: Lawrence of Arabia, Spartacus, My Fair Lady, Vertigo, Rear Window, The Godfather and The Godfather Part II.

Bob's visual sense is light years ahead of anyone else working in motion picture film restoration. There's a consistent quality to his work that is both faithful to the artist's original intent and visually engaging at the same time. While Harris has nothing to do with related links for animation art per se, I did want to acknowledge his work. I could not locate a website for Bob, but did find the link above which contains some of his writings.
